Since 1993 whenever I want a sandwich I go and get one at the Rogier metro station. They are freshly prepared, use good vegetables and their sauces are excellent, I especially liked a martino with the ’sauce maison’ and their ‘boullette piquante’.
Today, after 14 years of visiting them I arrive to find different people working under the same name. But everything zexcept the nameboard is different. No longer the same faces, no longer the same foods…
I feel a bit sad. Things are not eternal, and certainly people aren’t either, but it came as a bit of a surprise.
I wish them well, wherever they are now.
