Hmm, another alex !
From a quick google on the net, I understand that your 6915 has a built-in gps and tomtom software delivered with it ?

Are you using another (bluetooth) gps system ?

Really, the more I get into contact with Windows mobile owners, the more it seems that each connection to a gps can only be made through some special custom wizardry !

Hi Scott,

So, just to make sure, you first of all paired your bluetooth gps with your qtek 9100 right ? So they can see each other ?

And you are talking about TomTom navigator 5 ?

If so, you don't need to follow the whole list of instructions, TT5 should be smart enough to find the gps by itself as long as it is paired.

But in TT5 you need to set up the bt gps device as a cabled 'other' device, and NOT select in TT5 the bluetooth setting.

I never could get TT5 to work selecting the bluetooth gps, I finally managed to get it to work using the 'other' gps mouse setting.

Hope that helps.

I have a QTEK 9100/Navigator 5 and BT359S. I followed Spal39’s instructions, but run into trouble…..any ideas please?

1. Establish a bond with your GPS and select the checkbox for serial access.
2. In BT, select the new OUTGOING port to 8. ......CAN ONLY CHOOSE 7 OR 8, TRIED BOTH
3. In the GPS control panel, select the GPS program to 0 and make sure that the hardware one, is set to None.
4. Start PN and the GPS settings, select another bluetooth GPS, and you will see COM 0 free. Select COM 0 and close PN.
5. At the GPS control panel again, now set GPS Program Port to COM 8 (before we set it up at 0)....CAN ONLY CHOOSE 7 OR 8, TRIED BOTH
6. In BT Manager create a new OUTGOING COM port as COM0....CANNOT CHOOSE COM0, ONLY COM7 OR COM 8
7. Back again to GPS control panel and select NONE for both hardware and program ports.
8. Finally start PN and it should connect automatically. Wait for a couple of seconds and click the GPS settings and you should see it has connected.
